Domestic Consulting

Business Consulting

Whether or not you have enlisted the help of an Attorney for a domestic matter, working with a consultant can be an extremely helpful addition to solving the problems at hand. You find it impossible to communicate with the other side, you don't want to be contentious, but you also feel you don't have any other options. Issues that we face on a day to day basis within the area of domestic disputes whether it be before, during or after a final divorce can be next to impossible to solve on your own. The opinion of a third party that's not invested in the dispute can help you find answers.
My role as a domestic consultant is not to offer legal advice. I leave that up to the Attorneys qualified in the area of Domestic law. My goal is to help you sort through the "other stuff," the day to day issues. Some examples include:
- What is my "best case scenario" and how do I get there?
- How can I assess what my financial needs are?
- What are my goals with regard to spending time with my children?
- My agreement was done years ago when the children were young. They're now older - how do I handle and propose making changes to an outdated agreement?

My own experience in the business world was a constant daily struggle of setting priorities. We would find ourselves spending all day mapping out what we wanted to get done only to realize at the end of that day we accomplished very little. Until I figured out how to break this vicious cycle the business was about breaking me. So, if you are looking for ways to make your business more profitable (not to mention work time that is more enjoyable) then maybe we should talk. I'll also help you identify the areas of your business that require your most effective weapon - your time. Until you know what these are you can't really begin to put in the fixes you need. Sometimes the solutions are simple and sometimes they are complex - regardless I'll help you figure out which ones need attention.
Unless you remember that your customers are really the decision makers in your business, there will be trouble. No matter what, the best companies figure out how to KEEP customers and GET new ones WITHOUT losing the old ones. Whether you offer a product or service, the formula for success also lies in how your people and your products relate to customers old and new. You can never be good enough in relating to your customers - it can always be done better.
Many companies in today's workplace think in terms of cutting back to survive the downturn as the lone answer. Do you consider your firm a great company to work for, and to do business with, or are you thinking in terms of sitting back and "eventually" things will get better (because they have to)?
